BWFA confirms and more

What a night it has been at Flanders Horse Event 2016, one to remember. BWFA sold 25 foals and one embryo for a total of €545.000 and an incredible average of €22.542, which are absolute record numbers.

Last year the most expensive one, Pronto van de Middelstede, changed ownership for €62.000 and this year’s top price, €48.000, was offered for Pronto’s halfbrother, Quickstep van de Middelstede. He is moving to the UK. Four more foals crossed the 30k-boarder: Quinoa HW (€35.000), Vigo d’Fee de Septon Z (€32.000), Quickstar van de Zwartbleshoeve (€30.000 – The Netherlands) and Commic V.V. (€30.000 – KSA). Big scoop was the first ever BWFA-embryo and we’ve sold it to the USA for €30.000. The entire horse world was watching because foals were sold to Australia, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland and France as well.

The OC would like to thank everyone who supported this event, the OC of FHE, the purchasers and the breeders. We will be back soon!
